About a month and a half ago, I applied to join the Musicians Union – I’d been meaning to for ages (being the proper leftie that I am, I can’t really justify not being in the union, now can I?) and as it happens, Theo and I were in about to apply for some arts council funding for a tour that required us both to be in the union (Theo, being wiser and more right on than me, has been in the union for years).
So we apply, and are accepted for the grant funding (yay!), but no word from the MU.
Today I ring them up, and apparently, I’ve been a member for a month without even knowing! The letter they sent me didn’t get through… weirdness. Must email them with an address clarification.
anyway, that’s good.
